Description
Commonly carrying coke and coal, P&LE operated from Ohio to Pennsylvania and West Virginia from 1875 to 1993 as a subsidiary of New York Central. P&LE also had a fleet of boxcars often marked with New York Central, later Penn Central, lettering.
