This 34’ wood sheathed caboose with the straight cupola is freight car red with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf Swing-motion trucks. Built in the early 1920s, this caboose was later rebuilt and had its Arch Bar trucks replaced with more modern Bettendorf-style trucks. The PRR was a Class 1 Railroad, incorporated in 1846, and was the largest railroad by traffic and revenue in the USA prior to 1950.
