Last produced in 2013, Kato announces a new run of Norfolk Southern SD70ACe locomotives coming in
early 2020! These engines carry prototypical detailing specific to NS’s SD70ACe units, including the
isolated cab and unique roof antenna array! Included in this run will be #1111, often called the “Barcode
Unit” due to the way the road number forms a pattern of vertical striping below the cab window!
These new run SD70ACe’s will be available in Analog (DC), Factory DCC, and Special order DCC &
Sound versions, and will come in three different road numbers!
