Coming August 2021, Kato will be doing a new production run of the quintessential modern Amtrak
Diesel, the P42 “Genesis”, in Amtrak’s most current paint livery! In addition, we will be releasing the
Amtrak 50th Anniversary P42 locomotive, which is specially painted to recognize the 50th anniversary
of Amtrak’s service launch on May 1 st, 1971.
