Description
This heavyweight depressed-center flat car with 6-Wheel Buckeye trucks was built in the mid-2000s and used to carry oversize and heavy industrial loads, such as transformers, stationary power plants, and substation equipment. The lowered center of the car allows for necessary overhead clearance for the lading. TTX was established in 1955 as “Trailer Train,” and as their business evolved simply became “TTX” in a 1991 rebranding effort.
