Description
Built in the early-1920s, this reefer was used for meat transport between slaughterhouses and distributors. This car belonged to a series of over 2,000 similar cars, and could be seen in trains all across the country. Founded in 1859, Santa Fe was one of the largest railroads in North America up until 1996, when it merged with Burlington Northern to form BNSF.
