Description
This 40’ standard box car with single door, full ladders and no roofwalk is brown with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. This car was rebuilt and repainted in the 1970s, and upgraded in March of 1980. Founded in 1859, the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe was one of the largest railroads in North America until 1996, when it merged with Burlington Northern to form BNSF.
