These Sk-2 Class Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe stock cars with Bettendorf trucks were built in the 1920s from surplus wood-sheathed boxcars, and served in both livestock service and seasonal grain service, following installation of a cardboard lining. Founded in 1859, Santa Fe was one of the largest railroads in North America up until 1996, when it merged with Burlington Northern to form BNSF.
