Pre-orders were taken for these in July 2022
This 4,105 cu. ft. 40’ double-door boxcar with Bettendorf trucks was originally built in 1949 at Michigan City, Indiana and used for auto service. It was later converted for general service use and repainted in the mid-1970s, when its running board was also removed. Today, C&NW is now part of Union Pacific, exclusively a freight railroad with over 32,000 miles of track.
