This CPKC track geometry evaluation car is automated and outfitted with various sensors to examine track conditions such as position, curvature, alignment, smoothness, track gauge, as well as defects such as incorrect rail profile, rail warp, and other parameters. It can then record and transmit this data in detail and mark areas needing repair or adjustment.
