This 39’ single dome tank car is aluminum with red lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. During prohibition, wine grape growers in California were desperate to find an alternative to wine production that allowed their vineyards to be profitable. Fruit Industries Limited was founded with a product called “Vine-Glo – Wine Haven Pure Grape Concentrate,” a thick juice paste that could be fermented into wine in the consumer’s own home. The company later produced jellies, syrups, and vinegars.
