This 39’ single dome tank car is black with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Lettered for the H.J. Gilbert Company of Savannah, GA, this insulated and heated tank car was built in 1926. Molasses is a product resulting from refining sugarcane or sugar beets, and is used as a sweetener and flavoring in foods and is also used in the beer brewing process.
