Description
Built by Bethlehem Steel in 1971, this three-bay open hopper with Barber Roller Bearing trucks were used by Louisville & Nashville for bulk aggregate and coal loading and had a 100-ton capacity. The L&N was a Class I railroad that operated in the southeastern United States from 1850 until 1982 when it was consolidated into the Seaboard Coast Line, later becoming a part of CSX Transportation.
