This 39’ single dome tank car is white with black lettering and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. This 70-ton car was built from sections of old tank cars, and when completed, held approximately 15,000 gallons of water. It was initially used to chemically eradicate weeds along the NASA KSC right of way but was later used as an auxiliary water source for firefighting.
