Description
This 39’ single dome tank car is black with white lettering and runs on Arch Bar trucks. Built in the early 1920s, this TM-Class single-dome tank car was purchased second-hand in 1927 from the Mexican Petroleum Corporation and used exclusively in Maintenance of Way service for Norfolk & Western. With a capacity of 10,206 gallons, it was used to store lube oil for locomotives before being retired in the late 1950s.
