This heavyweight depressed-center flat car is a freight car red with white lettering and runs on Buckeye trucks. Built in 1940 for the Pennsylvania Railroad, this car was used to transport bulky and heavy industrial loads, such as large dimensional loads, electrical transformers, and construction equipment, with the depressed center allowing for a few feet of additional vertical clearance.
