Built in 1946 for Southern Pacific, these drop-bottom gondolas with Bettendorf trucks featured side extensions to increase the useable height by a foot-and-a-half. Used for pulpwood service in the 1950s, with a 50-ton capacity, these cars were in service through the mid-1970s in various roles.
