Description
The price is for a single car.
These 50’ standard box cars with 10’ single door, no roofwalk and short ladders are brown with white lettering and run on Roller Bearing trucks. Built in 1957, these boxcars were one of the first to be equipped with a Hydra-Cushion underframe, designed jointly by Southern Pacific and Stanford University, to help reduce commodity damage from slack action and other in-train shock forces. These cars continued to be seen in revenue service through the early 1990s.
