Built in the late 2010s, this Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) 56’ tank car with Barber Roller Bearing trucks car is owned by Trinity Rail. Pemex is a Mexican state-owned petroleum company, with roots going back to 1938 through the nationalization of all private domestic oil companies. Today, Pemex is Latin America’s second largest company in respect to annual revenue. With a fleet of more than 122,000 railcars, Trinity Rail is a leading manufacturer and lessor in North America.
