Description
This F68AH flatcar with Barber Roller Bearing trucks was built by Bethlehem Steel in 1974 for TTX and has a 263,000-pound capacity. This bulkhead flatcar is used to carry structural steel and pipes, as well as logs and other long commodities. The reinforced bulkheads provide load protection and prevent shifting during transit. TTX was established in 1955 as “Trailer Train,” and as their business evolved, simply became “TTX” in a 1991 rebranding effort.
