Built by Pullman-Standard in 1981, this 2,980 cubic-foot capacity two-bay hopper was owned by Missouri Pacific. MP was a Class 1 railroad in the western United States, founded in 1872. In 1980, Union Pacific purchased MP, and many railcars still carry the MP reporting mark, as they operate for UP.
